Dr. Ketut Jaman, S.S., M.Si., CMMC., a seasoned tourism professional from Taro Village, Bali, began his career in the hospitality industry in 1986 after completing a Diploma in Tour and Travel. From the early 1990s until 2003, he organized incentive groups from countries such as Germany, France, India, and the USA. In 2004, he expanded his focus to include conferences, exhibitions, and leisure groups. As a member of the Melali MICE team, Dr. Jaman successfully managed large-scale international conferences across Indonesia and participated in numerous tourism trade shows globally, including in regions such as Australia, the USA, Europe, India, China, Latin America, South Africa, UAE, and ASEAN countries.

Dr. Jaman holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Warmadewa University, a Master’s in Cultural Studies from Udayana University, and a Doctorate in Religious and Cultural Studies from Hindu Indonesia University. He has been actively involved in Bali’s tourism associations since 2012, holding key positions in organizations such as the Bali Tourism Board, ASITA, the Indonesian Congress of Convention and Association, Bali Convention and Exhibition Bureau, and the Bali Wellness Association Maha Usadhi. Dr. Jaman played a pivotal role in drafting Bali’s Cultural Tourism Standards, serving as a key member of the working group formed by the Governor of Bali in 2018. His leadership and expertise in this group were crucial in shaping the regulation, which continues to have a lasting impact on the province’s governance and policies. Additionally, he has served as a senior lecturer at the Bali Tourism Polytechnic since 1999, mentoring future tourism professionals. His extensive experience and contributions have left a significant mark on both academic and tourism policy development in Bali.
